Founded in 1820 as a haven for freed American slaves, Liberia quickly became one of Africa's most successful and beautiful countries. But years of civil unrest and war have led to the destruction of the economic, educational and spiritual infrastructure of the country. Currently, Liberians live on the edge of existence and need our immediate help. Tens of thousands have died, many thousands are orphaned and an entire generation has been denied basic educational benefits. Tremendous opportunity rises out of desperate need. Liberian Ministries is involved in rescuing orphans, village children and adults by providing schools, medical clinics, orphanages, and vocational education to the outlying villages of Liberia.
