Introduction and History of Liberia

STS personnel within the United States are all non-compensated volunteers who pay their own expenses including travel costs.

It’s not about us, it’s all about Him. There is no empire building here. We are open to all true believers who would like to serve those who are serving the world. We would say that there’s room at the top for you but there is only one top in this ministry and that is God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The rest of us are simply slaves to a perfect Master.

God seems to be waking His people up to true ownership of “things” and to the priority of reaching our world for the sake of Jesus Christ. More and more churches and Christian ministries are “giving it all away”. When they produce tools for the spread of the gospel they make them available, free of charge, on their websites, in their churches and in other ways. Rather than charging for their work they recognize that it belongs to God and that His kingdom is furthered when others gain access to these tools. Service To Servants desires to share anything we know, have or do with others for the benefit of Christ. We envision a day when there will be a STS in Liberia, a STS in Malawi, a STS in Indonesia… As God moves in His people’s hearts for a country or people group, we stand ready to “give away” everything that God has taught us in Liberia.

Personal Testimony of Rodney Edwards.

Founded in 1820 as a haven for freed American slaves, Liberia quickly became one of Africa's most successful and beautiful countries. But years of civil unrest and war have led to the destruction of the economic, educational and spiritual infrastructure of the country. Currently, Liberians live on the edge of existence and need our immediate help. Tens of thousands have died, many thousands are orphaned and an entire generation has been denied basic educational benefits. Tremendous opportunity rises out of desperate need. Liberian Ministries is involved in rescuing orphans, village children and adults by providing schools, medical clinics, orphanages, and vocational education to the outlying villages of Liberia. Our goal is to train the next generation of business, political and religious leaders. This video shares the personal testimony of Rodney Edwards.
